Eileen Cassidy Rivera is an accomplished strategic communications and marketing professional. Her unique brand of leadership is formed by a dynamic career spanning 25 years in business, technology, government, education, and politics. She is a hands-on, take-charge leader with strategic insights gained from experiences inside Fortune 500 companies, President Bill Clinton’s administration, corporate boardrooms and political campaigns. A trusted advisor to corporate executives, non-profit leaders, politicians and educators, Eileen is a distinguished and innovative developer of new communications models who achieves measurable and impactful results.
At present, Eileen is Vice President of Marketing at Ciox Health, a leading health technology company dedicated to improving U.S. health outcomes by transforming clinical data into actionable insights. An active community citizen and fierce education advocate, Eileen was elected to the School Board of Alexandria City Public Schools in 2006-09. At the end of her term, Eileen was named Education Advocate of the Year by Tenants and Workers United, earning praise across the community for her leadership to address the achievement gap among students, particularly in the growing immigrant population in Alexandria.
Eileen has served on several boards and commissions including the Children, Youth and Families Collaborative Commission, the Alexandria Commission for Women, First Night Alexandria, Concerned Citizens Network of Alexandria, the Democratic Business Council of Northern Virginia and the Ron Brown Scholar Program. She is bilingual in Spanish and has traveled to more than 25 countries. She lives in Del Ray with her husband, Andrew, and their three fabulous children.
