Agenda:Alexandria is registered 501(c)(3) non-partisan organization which encourages informed debate and discussion on a wide variety of local issues without taking a position. We host eight programs per year on topics of interest to the residents of the City of Alexandria. For over 20 years, Agenda:Alexandria has “looked at the issues without taking sides.” Program topics are wide-ranging and have included such issues as transportation, education, history & preservation, waterfront development, dining out, the environment, the arts, eating local, City budget planning, aging in place, and public safety—to list just a few.
Thanks to the dedicated crew at TC Williams Broadcast Club, our recorded programs are available on YouTube►
Save the Date! All programs are held on the fourth Monday of the month September-April. We skip December and May’s program is on the third Monday. The moderated panel discussion begins at 7:15 pm and includes written questions from the audience. Programs are $5 or free with a $50 membership and end promptly at 9 pm.
Agenda’s Board of Directors plans and organizes each program: contacting and coordinating with the speakers, introducing programs, and managing the Q&A session at the end of each program.
Board members are identified at meetings with a red ribbon on their name tag and are pleased to field any questions you may have about program topics and speakers, membership, or advertising specifics.
We welcome your involvement!
